Lubricators
Installation Instructions
- Pregrease bearing with standard hand lube gun to ensure that lubricant will flow smoothly into bearing. Use same grease as in dispenser.
- Remove grease nipple and screw in appropriate adaptor if necessary. Small Lubrication dispenser has 1/4”, large unit 1/2” NPT mounting nipple. Use adaptors if necessary to mount lubrication unit.
- If possible, install automatic lubrication dispenser directly onto bearing. If there is no clearance, an extension of up to 3 ft (for grease) and 15 ft (for oil) may be installed (use 1/4” I.D.). Before installing dispenser, fill extension with appropriate lubricant with standard hand lube dispenser.
